- Remote sync(원격 동기화)의 줄임말

- file이나 directory 동기화를 위한 프로토콜이자 Unix용 커맨드라인 유틸리티(rcp, scp와 같은 역할을 함)

*rcp(remote copy)

*scp(secure copy)
